Man Jailed For Drug Resistant TB

A man is jailed for refusing to wear a mask while walking into a convenience store. He has been diagnosed with drug resistant tuberculosis. Does the confinement of this patient seem to be against his human rights? Doesn't the safety of the masses rule out his individual rights?
