I just finished with my first Nurse Practitioner student as a preceptor and she sent the following message to my bosses. I was very pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed every second of the experience. I can't wait until the next student and I hope that I get another as good as she was.

As you know, many of these patients do not have the insurance or money to go to specialists for care and through her collaboration and coordination w/community resources and through her expertise, she is able to provide the care they need or get them to what they need. Everyday, the patients all told me they were so happy to have her and the clinic there, as traveling so far for quality medical care was very costly or becoming impossible for them."
